Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) has expanded its gaming subscription service Apple Arcade by introducing two new recreation classes and including greater than 30 new video games. Apple Arcade now has greater than 180 video games in its catalog.
What Occurred: Apple stated it has launched two new recreation classes – “Timeless Classics” and “App Retailer Greats”, all with no adverts or in-app purchases. Earlier, Apple Arcade had just one class known as “Arcade Originals.”
The “Timeless Classics” class contains new board video games and traditional puzzle video games like “Good Sudoku by Zach Gage,” “Chess – Play & Study,” and “Backgammon.” The “App Retailer Greats” class brings award-winning video games from the App Retailer to Apple Arcade, together with “Threes!,” “Mini Metro,” and “Fruit Ninja Traditional.”
