Just kidding, of course. But the Onion's AV Club does have a post up on... eating flavored crickets. Not just any crickets, but the same ones that we at SML tried back on March 4th. Ah, yeah... SML is apparently setting trends, ya'll ;)
The AV Club's reaction to the crickets matched ours - crunchy and otherwise tasting like nothing but air. Ours = The Marathon Man (still the person to go to with disgusting Fear Factor like food, since he will eat anything), his boy Alf, and, of course SML. We even took video footage of the tasting, via some girl's cell phone cam, but she never uploaded the footage. Or, if she did, we didn't get the e-mail. She probably put that sh*t on You Tube without telling us. I told her to stop doing that...
Anyway, I really enjoyed the AV Club's video, if for no other reason than because it appears that the AV Club, in true geek fashion, hires nothing but nerdy-looking guys, and somewhat attractive, cute girls, to work in their office. Just saying, that's all I really noticed after the first 15 seconds....
I got to them props for dragging "eating crickets" out into a lengthy post, with video, pics, and discussion. Sh*t, once SML gets a big enough budget, we might have to start competing with them...
