Flipping through the channels during a commercial in the Knicks game, and noticed this commercial... it kinda entertained me.  That crazy anthropomorphic glass pitchers known as Kool-Aid Man (is that is name?) showcasing his crazy handle and point guard skills:

Clyde Frazier Quote of the night: "Nate's intoxicating move (cutting up Steve Blake to put the Knicks within one with a minute to go) left Steve Blake inebriated."

In addition to drunkifying Blake, Nate dropped 42 points during regulation (including the last four) on 15-25 shooting (60%) with 6 assists.  There were a few passes that he dished to open Knicks (like Q-Rich) that they couldn't complete.  He added 5 rebounds and tough defense, including a key steal when he fronting the much taller Brandon Roy.  Two games removed from LeBron's 50 point game, Nate Robinson showed that can be a huge factor in the Knicks' future.  While the Knicks wouldn't pass up on Derrick Rose if he was available in the draft (except maybe, and even this is very unlikely, for Michael Beasley), the recent emergence of Nate Robinson as a quality point guard might give the Knicks pause if the choice came down to one of the second-tier point guards; they might decide to stick with Nate and instead draft to fix their other problems, such as SF or a shot-blocking big man.

One of the most exciting moments of OT was 5'7 Nate Robinson jumping for the ball against 7'1 Joel Pryzbilla.  Nate almost gave Joel the Pryzbusiness on the jump, but Portland controlled it.  Still, there was a noticeable buzz in the arena watching Nate.

Props to Wilson Chandler for having the balls to shoot in a close game in the 4th quarter, dropping all 8 of his points in that frame (it would have been more, if not for the missed free throws).

In the end the Knicks showed great effort on the defensive end at the end of the fourth, but despite Nate's terrific effort (he finished with 45 points while Crawford was relegated to the bench due to an injury), he and the Knicks would run out of gas.

Update;  Posting and Toasting has some great video up of Nate Robinson, including the aforementioned drive that left Steve Blake "inebriated".  Rather than to just post the video with a hat tip, we're going to tell ya'll to go check it out.
