You know, every time I take a vacation that lasts longer than a week, I find it harder and harder to get back into writing. Especially about sports... I mean, I haven't watched a game in over a week, or read any posts/articles about anything, expect national news.
So, in an effort to reenter the writing sphere again, I'll be throwing up random little posts for the next couple of days. Just giving ya'll fair warning.
Some random facts that I've been saving for just such an occasion (space-wasting):
-"Alan Smithee" is generic name that an unsatisfied director will use so that his real name is not attached to the project.
-The Capgras Delusion is the unnerving sensation that an imposter is sitting in for a close relative.
-Morgellan's Disease is that strange skin disorder that is still consider a mental disorder. Sufferers "believe" their skin is crawling with little insects underneath (that's known as "formication"), and it is manifested physically in skin lesions/rashes that do not heal, and sometimes black fibers that come out from under the skin.
-Enallage is the substitution of one part of speech for another, i.e. the use of the royal "we" for "I".
-In: Rock Band. Out: Guitar Hero
Okay, more random nonsense on the way....
