Yeah, I'm gonna skip posting notes about the Knicks loss to the Lakers yesterday.  They fell behind by 20 points for like the 10th time this year; they rallied behind Nate Robinson and Jamal Crawford's huge second half (30 points in the second half, battling with Kobe), cut a 25 point lead down to 1 point, but could not take the lead.  At least it was exciting for once.

Isiah Thomas has promised a lineup shakeup, and that probably means Curry is getting benched (and/or Randolph), in favor of David Lee no doubt.  Personally I would like to see Richardson benched, too.  I appreciate his defense, but his offense is so bad (he can't hit an open three, and won't shoot or post from anywhere else, not that I think he'll do better), that I don't why he's better than Balkman or Jeffries.  At this point in time he's pretty much a short Jeffries, and a less tenacious Balkman.  Give them the playing time over Richardson.

Well, either way, let's see if David Lee's addition to the lineup helps the Knicks not fall into 25 point holes.  If Malik Rose's quote in today's newspaper is any indication, it probably won't matter much:

"Overall, collectively, coming from this locker room on a night-in, night-out basis, there's not a 100% commitment to competing," Rose said.

"What I've seen over the first 30 games, guys are afraid to be told or shown that their best isn't good enough. So, we sit back and actually wait until we're down and all the things are against us, and then we have a built-in excuse. We're never going to win that way.
"

Okay, here are some fun Japanese Game Show clips found on YouTube, most from Japan Probe.
Japanese Treadmill involves a bunch of contestants running on a big treadmill... easy right?  Not when you add in a few hurdles:

Next up, along those lines... let's dress a bunch of guys up in insect costumes, and force them across a floor that's raised at a 30 degree angle (or greater).  As silly as that is, the "punishment" for failing really confuses me.  I think they put "Raid" on the insect's face:

Okay, next up is Human Tetris. This one cracked me up the most. Especially when the big guy (218 cm) goes at it:

A couple more... this one involves a really tub of water, and making a girl's breasts jiggle:

This one is just a silly live version of Pac-Man:

And finally, because it is my favorite: More Human Tetris:

FIRE ISIAH! DUMP DOLAN PROTEST & WALKOUT
CLOTHING DRIVE TO BENEFIT NYC’S HOMELESS SHELTERS

SUNDAY DECEMBER 30, 2007 AT 11:00 am
IN FRONT OF MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

PROTEST = Stand with us outside the Garden, Be Heard.
WALKOUT = We are encouraging all fans that attend the
game against the Bulls to make a statement by leaving
the Garden at the end of the 3rd quarter and join us
in our protest.
BENEFIT = Donate a clothing item to NYC’s homeless
shelters for those less fortunate.

We’re not pompous or foolish to believe this protest
will be the fix to end all problems with our NY
Knicks. As die-hard fans that have suffered tremendous
anguish watching this ownership and management
dismantle and ruin this proud franchise and everything
it stands for, our Knicks. The laughing stock of the
NBA. WE MUST BE HEARD!

Please show your support Sunday, December 30, 2007 in
front of MSG “The Worlds Most Famous Arena” with the
“Most Pathetic Basketball Organization!”

I can be reached via email at joeyvworks@yahoo.com
