Quick post on tonight's Knicks-Celtics game, which I'm looking forward to...

Slam Online, and our boy Mutoni (we give him a hard time, but he's peeps) has a post up about Quentin Richardson's quotes on playing the Celtics:

“It’s not that big a deal to us,” Richardson said of facing the 11-2 Celtics. “It’s like the media makes more of The Big Three and all of them. We’re not in awe of them. They ain’t won no championships. They have a good record right now, but that don’t matter. Dallas showed that [last season].”

“They’re not that deep of a team,” Richardson said. “After those three, there’s a significant dropoff.”

Bold.  I'm excited for tonight.  It's one of two things tonight: either the Knicks play hard, like they did when they beat these same Celtics in one of the most preseason games ever less than a month ago, or they roll over and quit versus a team that is going to be pissed after losing to the Cavs in OT yesterday.

Boston hasn't lost at home yet, and they are going to go all out and defend the home court.

The Knicks have had two days of rest since their last game, where as the Celtics played an OT game yesterday in Cleveland.

Advantage: Knicks.  Look for a possible upset tonight.  And if the Knicks lose badly tonight... look for an angry post from me tomorrow.

i'm just glad the game was on tnt instead of msg; othwerwise we'd have had to hear mike breen, clyde and the rest of the cool-aid drinkers wax delusional about "bright spots" and "promising displays" from this walking abomination of a team.

Wow. Looks like Isiah will be gone soon. I'll have to clear my schedule for Knicks games again.

I'll understand if you don't even bother posting about the game.
