Okay, flashback is over. Who the heck was that white dude (was that "Big Country" Reeves?) with the bad case of Mike Bibby mouth? Anyone know?
By the way, before you break on Isiah Thomas and his "revolutionary" plan for Kevin Garnett ("enroll him in a local college" and "no road games"), keep in mind that at the same time, Isiah was trying to trade up to get Garnett according to this report. The man has the gift for drafting.

Yeah that definitely was Big Country.
As crazy as Zeke's plan was, you have to remember the climate of the time. KG was that first with can't miss talent out of high school since Moses. The league wasn't prepared professionally or socially.
Neither was the media.
