Chris Mullin (see here, non-sweaty guy), among the first players in NBA history to attempt to shoot with his left-hand.
In 1991 the New Jersey Nets attempted to become the first team in NBA history to go left-handed. They drafted Kenny Anderson and Derrick Coleman in back to back season. Damn it, I spent 22 minutes on the 'net trying to find a picture of the two of them together. Apparently no photos of the 1991-1992 Nets (also know as "the Mookie Blaylock years") exist. Not even a team photo.Hooplah...Nation will be happy to hear that if you type "Kenny Anderson Derrick Coleman" into the Google image search, the vast majority of pics that come up are from his website. Unfortunately none of them actually are of the fictional Kenny Anderson and/or Derrick Coleman.
Argentina is the most lefthanded country in the world. Manu Ginobili and Pepe Sanchez, pictured above on their way to the ugliest toga party ever, are both lefties. So is my favorite blogger, namely SML himself.
You know it's hard out there for lefties. People are always jealous of you. Sometimes even your brother, as poor Bison Dele found out.

Being left-handed does not mean you'll end up getting waived or cut from several NBA teams in your career. But it may happen.Other prominent lefties in (or once in) the NBA:
Lamar Odom
Chris Bosh
Tayshaun Prince
David Robinson
Nick Van Exel
Greg Anthony
Michelangelo (3/4 of TMNT's namesakes are lefties)
Michael Redd
Phil Jackson
4 of the previous 5 presidents before Dubya
Toni Kukoc
Willis Reed
Lee Nailon
Troy Murphy
And most of Serpentor's DNA (Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Napoleon, etc). And now I have an excuse to post this:
Ah, hell... if I'm posting Cobra videos, might have well give you DESTRO and The Baroness' new single, "Get Money":

Don't forget about Zach Randolph. See the thing about Zach is that he's lefthanded, so that means he uses his lefthand. He catches guys offguard by going to his left.
We got a lefthanded southpaw on our team. His name is Zach Randolph. We got a younger, youthier player, within Zach Randolph.
Don't forget Jordi and his southpaw style, mova, puffin' on a fat blunt from Cuba
The most prominent NBA lefty is probably Steve "I read Marx for fun" Nash tho.
It's a commonly accepted axiom among Inupiaq Eskimos that most polar bears are left-handed.
Polar bears are lefty, Jake. It says so in my copy of "The Left-hander's Handbook".
It also says that "Left-handers are three times more apt to become alcoholics".
Most of you are probably too young, but Nate "Tiny" Archibald is a member of the NBA's all-time Top 50 team. He's the only player to ever lead the league in scoring AND assists in the same season.
Bob Lainier, one of the all-time great centers, was also a lefty.
SML, interesting post, but you've GOTTA give Michael Redd his own picture!
David Lee is a lefty, too...He pulled an Oden back in high school and broke his wrist, so he can shoot with either hand just as well now, but technically, he's a lefty.
In February, 1977, the Nets started an all- lefthanded lineup: Kim Hughes, Tim Bassett, Al Skinner, Dave Wohl, Bubbles Hawkins
this is johnathon, aka lefty, dont forget, most lefties who practice at it and dont let it get rusty have a 3-ball that is out of this world, im one of em
Hey man, I own a web site as well and I hardly ever see spam remarks on your posts. How do you find a way to stop all this? Do you just manually moderate everything?
