Greg Oden first broke the story, on his blog, about how he got up from the couch with an achy knee. It sounded like what you would expect to hear from a 50-something year old basketball player. But I don't think anyone knew how bad it was.
I really feel bad for the Blazer fans. Honestly. Not because they could have drafted Durant (and kept Zach Randolph), but because they had some much to look forward to. Now they have a full season of "they passed on Jordan again!" jokes ahead of them. Poor guys.

Yeah i was just going to write this, i actually feel bad or Oden, which i rarely do for athletes. He seems like a really cool guy, and i was looking forward to seeing how this team would do in the West this year. You gotta wonder if he'll ever be the same coming back.
