No gimmicks, here's the deal: for previews from Bulls fans, check out Tremendous Upside Potential or Blog-a-Bull. For a Pistons preview, check out Need4Sheed. There's been some good trash talk going back and forth between both teams, in what promises to be the least relevant or exciting series of the 2nd round.
Yeah, sorry. It'll be exciting to the fans of the two teams involved, but relatively speaking... the Western Conference playoffs could change the dynamics of the NBA (it won't, unfortunately, because the Spurs and Rockets will win, but it could), and the Cavs-Nets will be exciting to watch simply because the potential (probably unrealized) of a Vince Carter or LeBron James giving a shit. But we'll get into that in our previews of those series. For this Bulls-Pistons series (which starts tonight), here is our prediction:
Pistons in 5. Yeah, that might seem like a slight at the sensitive Bulls fans. Whatever. What it really means is that we think the Bulls, as good as they are (and they appeared in destroying the Heat) do not match up well with the Pistons (regular season record aside). Luol Deng was a huge reason why the Bulls dismantled the Heat; we see Tay Prince shutting him down. That's what Prince does. That leaves Gordon as the only source of offense for the Bulls. He will get his points, but we think Rip Hamilton will outscore him.
The Pistons have a low post presence, but not much of one. Sheed likes to shoot from outside, and Webber's post game isn't what it used to be. But they are a great interior passing team, and will get more points in the paint than the Bulls.
And that's pretty much it. Unlike the Bulls-Heat series we will try to catch the games here as much as possible.

There are really only two differences between these teams, age and Ben Wallace.
Bulls in 6.
Oh, and one other difference: Detroit actually has an offense. Unless 46 points in three quarters is considered offense....
46 points in three quarters is definitely offensive.
It's only the first game though, I'm standing by the Bulls in 6.
The Warriors will beat the Jazz. Can't believe Houston lost that game, can't believe they let 9 seconds run off the clock at the end w/out fouling. Oh well.

Sensitive is preferable to fucktarded. That's what "we" think anyway.
