Like almost everyone else, we are on the Warriors bandwagon.  Here is how the Warriors started the 3rd quarter yesterday - you have Biedrins hustling to grab an offensive board, kicking it to a wide open Jason Richardson (who had time to set his feet and take a completely open three); then you have Jason Terry's turnover, and a Jason Richardson rebound (getting to the loose ball first), which he kicks out to Stephen Jackson for another three.  Like that the Mavs have to use an early timeout:

And here is the last 1:37 of the game:

Shoals hinted at this yesterday at FreeDarko, but do you think the Warriors beating the Mavs would really change the way NBA teams play. Lots of people are saying that the only reason Dallas is havin so much trouble against them is because they dont have a bruising low post scorer, but if Dirk doesnt count as such, then how many teams really have one? How awesome would to be to see teams playing 4 SG/SF at the same time if this upset goes down. (and it will)

Honestly, yes and no. Winning this series won't justify the fast-tempo play. But the Suns winning a championship that way (and I don't really think they will, but it could happen) - that would give credibility to the style.

Honestly, I'm not sure the Warriors can get out of the second round against a team like the Rockets. That'll be more of a challenge than pulling off a pressure-free upset against a team that you match up well against, and that you have a strong psychological edge against.

A Warriors-Sun Western Conference Final - aside from being the most anticipated, exciting series in ages, it would absolutely change (almost overnight) the perception in the NBA of this style of play (the uptempo fast breaking style).
