Beat The Skeets is a daily feature in which SML tries to surpass the record set by the best basketball handicappers in the world, J.E. Skeets and Tas Melas of www.thebasketballjones.net.

TBJ Current Record:  They lost yesterday with the Celtics (why?!?).  TBJ apparently doesn't care anymore.  TBJ's record is now 57-41 (58.2%).

SML Current Record: We split yesterday, hitting with the Nets (barely), but losing with Charlotte.  I think we will hold off on wagering against the surprising 76ers for a while.  Current record: 14-21 (40.0%).

Today's picks: Small schedule, only three games tonight.  We took the Bulls [+2] @ the Kings, mainly because it is the late game, so we can catch it when we get home tonight.  We know the Bulls suck on the road, are on their annual circus trip (which they are historically bad during), and that the Kings are a tough home team.  Despite that, we grabbed our balls and bet it anyway!  We believe the Bulls can dominate the boards, and keep Artest and Bibby in check defensively.  And Gordon is going to have a big game...
