TBJ Current Record: Their losing streak reached four yesterday, betting on the Pacers, who just missed covering by a half-point. Their record is now 53-35 (60.3%).
SML Current Record: We split yesterday, winning with the Mavs, but losing with the Knicks (a.k.a. the New Pacers), to the Bucks by half a point. In fact, with the Bucks up a point with .4 seconds left, Mo Williams bricked his first FT, giving us hope. He then lined up all the way to the left of the rim on his second attempt, trying to brick it on purpose*. Of course it goes through for the swoosh, and the Knicks lose by two. Hey, Mo - hope one of those bullets on your shoulder explodes by accident next time you shoot a FT. Current record: 2-4(.333)
Today's picks: SML is going with three picks tonight, including our first strong bet recommendation. The Strong Pick is Phoenix [-5] @ Minnesota. Our other two picks are Orlando [-4] @ Atlanta, and Houston [-9.5] at home against the 76ers.
*For the purpose of ending the game, since .4 seconds isn't enough to grab a rebound and heave a cross court shot. Duh.
